Spring 2011 Sneak Peak: Lace of All Trades

The spring runways showed lace in many different fabrics and stylings. From revealing "lingerie" lace to precious cotton eyelets, the versatility of lace allows everyone to find a version of this romantic trend that suits their style.

Glamorous Lace
Sheer laces in silk and chiffon reference boudoir glamor. Even with temperatures dropping, this barely-there lace is the easiest to wear now. Pair a lacy frock with opaque tights and metallic pumps for a very of-the-moment holiday look. When warmer weather arrives, style this lace with bare legs and nude pumps for a fresh approach.

Candy Bright Lace
Lace wasn't limited to your typical black and tea-stained colors this season! From minty greens to electric pinks, this perfect match of texture and color will definitely draw attention. Focus on lady-like silhouettes to maintain a put-together look.

Antique Lace
Chanel your inner bohemian with exagerated lace styles with crocheted and eyelet details. Style with plenty of fringe & your cowboy boots from seasons past or opt for a sweetheart look and pair with wooden wedges as seen at the Dolce & Gabbana show.
